WHAT TO EXPECT...

Typically your first appointment will take a little longer than an hour slot in order to give us time to discuss medical history, what brought you to Reiki and any questions that you may have. Your intitial consultation is included in the treatment fee, and this can take place in person, via telephone or video call to suit. Following appointments are usually about an hour in duration.

I am fully insured with Balens Holistic Therapist and Teacher Insurance and I am also a Registered Master Teacher Member of The UK Reiki Federation. I am personally COVID Compliant, as are the Clinics I work with, and you can read more about our COVID policies here.

The Power of Intention...

Setting a realistic intention and creating a focus in everyday life can have a profound effect on our health and wellbeing. Although it is important not to attach to any particular outcome, as Reiki always finds it's path most needed, I find that holding an intention prior to a Reiki Session helps to tune into the Universal Energy. Indeed we can hold the intention to 'feel relaxed' or to 'experience Reiki intently' or 'to relieve stress'. Intention is personal to YOU. We will hold space for your intention with each session.

Usually for each Reiki Session, we will utilise a therapy bed with pillows and a blanket to help you feel comfortable. Please feel reassured that clean linen is used for each client and you can read about our health and safety policies here. If you would prefer to sit comfortably for your session, we can use a chair. Your comfort is of utmost importance. Reiki is a non-intrusive therapy. I would recommend wearing comfortable clothing and removing any hair ornaments and spectacles. I would also suggest removing your shoes and wearing comfortable socks to keep your feet warm.

During a Reiki Session, with your permission, I will lay my hands lightly or hover above key areas of the body. My personal Reiki practice is intuitively led and Reiki flows where it is needed. Some people experience sensations of heat, cold, tingling or nothing physical at all... Reiki will work from its deepest level, bringing things to the surface to be addressed and dispersed. It can be surprising, but ultimately immensely healing. Personally, I will not recommend a certain number of sessions as each person is different; but I would say that one session alone will give you incredible relaxation (akin to four hours of rejuvenating sleep!) and further sessions will work towards addressing particular areas of concern.

We are not required to hold a particular belief system or spiritual practice to benefit from Reiki. Simply holding the intention to be open to receive the energy is all that is necessary. Reiki flows where it is most needed.

What to Expect from an Angelic Reiki Healing Session...

Angelic Reiki is a beautiful system of Reiki Healing. During an Angelic Reiki Session we will consciously call in the Archangels and Ascended Masters and those joining the sacred space for our highest good. An Angelic Reiki Session is intuitively led and may incorporate a Chakra Balancing exercise prior to treatment.

In a one-to-one healing session, the practitioner channels Angelic healing energy through his or her hands which are typically placed on the shoulders if the client prefers a sitting position, or on the chest and solar plexus if the client prefers to lie down. As with Usui Reiki, the client remains fully clothed throughout. Clients have a profoundly relaxing experience as the healing energy is channelled from the Angelic Realms via Healing Angels, Archangels, Ascended Masters and Galactic Healers.

What to Expect from a Distant Healing Session...

Sometimes we are not in a position to be in the same room during a treatment. In such situations, Reiki can be delivered remotely. The unique symbols and energy can be 'sent' to you in much the same manner as if you were there right in front of me. During a distant healing, I would afford the exact same preparation, time and effort as if you were with me in person. A telephone consultation would be given and during preparation, I would ask you to prepare yourself in a comfortable, quiet space with minimal disruption. We can utilise a Video Call, Telephone Call or simply a text to ascertain a time and readiness for the Energy Flow. Sometimes recipients choose to receive the energy whilst they sleep. A connection would be made and Reiki healing sent for your highest will and good.

A One Hour in person appointment is £50.00. (this includes a telephone/video consultation prior to your first in person treatment)
