Terms and Conditions for Appointments...
Before Your Consultation, you will be asked to complete a consultation form and sign to accept your understanding of our agreement.
Please notify me as soon as possible should you regrettably need to cancel or alter your appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be subject to a cancellation fee to cover costs.
Details of new procedures to protect against transmission of COVID-19
As you will be aware, all public places have created new protocols for visitors to follow, for their safety and the safety of others. Please read through this information before attending the clinic.
Before your appointment
You will be sent a consultation and consent form to complete and return to me via email prior to your first appointment. This form includes screening questions. If any of your answers to these questions changes before attending the clinic for your first or any subsequent treatments, please do not attend the clinic and inform me as soon as possible via text or phone call.
Consultations and follow-up conversations will either be carried out in person or via phone or video call, depending on how extensive a discussion is required. I will let you know if I need to take any information prior to your appointment.
What to bring
All patients have a choice to wear a surgical mask or cloth face covering before entering the clinic. If you do not have access to one or forget to bring one with you, I will have some available which can be purchased for £0.60 each.
The couch and pillow cases will be disinfected after every client and I will also be using clean fresh linen for each patient.
I would recommend bringing a bottle of water to stay hydrated, but will also have water, and herbal/fruit tea available in clinic.
We ask all visitors to the clinic to maintain at least a one metre distance (preferably more) from other people at all times. The only exception to this is the actual treatment – if you would prefer to receive hands-off distance Reiki, please let me know and I will facilitate this. I will be wearing the appropriate PPE at all times.
Unless you require assistance for specific support and care needs (chaperone, parent or carer) we ask you to come alone for your appointment where possible.
Arriving at the clinic
Please wait in our Quiet Zone Reception area where I will meet you.
Should you develop any symptoms of covid-19 during your treatment, please let me know, go straight home and call 119 for testing.
There will be a hand-sanitising station near the entrance and you can also wash your hands with soap and water using the facilities provided.
After your appointment
If you develop Covid-19 symptoms or have a confirmed diagnosis of Covid-19 within 48 hours of having treatment, please immediately inform me as well as the NHS test and trace service.
A final note
While these conditions are not ideal, we are positive that we can make this work without compromising on the level of care that you receive, and remember, we are the same smiling faces behind these masks!
